About Coach

Meet Amanda, our newest CrossFit coach, bringing fresh energy and passion to the team. Amanda started her CrossFit journey in 2021 and has quickly become a dedicated athlete, always striving to reach her full potential. Her competitive spirit has seen her take part in both local and interstate competitions, where she continually pushes her limits and inspires those around her.

Amanda holds a Certificate III in Fitness and a Bachelor of Health Science (Sports Science), equipping her with both practical coaching skills and a deep understanding of athletic performance and wellbeing. She is committed to helping every member of our community achieve their goals, no matter their starting point.

Outside the gym, Amanda loves running, dancing, catching live music at local gigs, and never passes up the chance to enjoy a good burrito. Her enthusiasm, knowledge, and drive make her a fantastic addition to our coaching team.

Turning Point

Before discovering CrossFit, Amanda dedicated six years to strength and circuit training, building a solid foundation in fitness and movement. But when the COVID lockdowns hit, Amanda found herself searching for a new challenge to break the monotony of her routine and keep her passion for fitness alive.

It was during this period of isolation that Amanda’s turning point arrived. Determined not to let the lockdowns stall her progress, she decided to dive into the world of CrossFit. From her garage, Amanda began teaching herself the movements and learning the unique CrossFit lingo, embracing the unfamiliar with curiosity and drive. The challenge of mastering new skills and understanding the culture of CrossFit reignited her enthusiasm for training.

As soon as gyms reopened, Amanda was the first one through the doors, eager to put her newfound skills and knowledge to the test in a real CrossFit environment. This pivotal moment marked the beginning of her journey—not just as an athlete, but as someone ready to inspire others by embracing change, seeking growth, and meeting every challenge head-on.

Motivation & Passion

Amanda’s motivation as a coach is rooted in her genuine love for helping others. She thrives on seeing people progress, grow, and achieve things they never thought possible. For Amanda, the real reward comes when she witnesses that spark of pride and happiness in someone’s eyes after they conquer a new challenge or reach a personal milestone.

She believes that every small victory matters, and nothing is more fulfilling than seeing a smile of achievement on someone’s face. Amanda’s passion lies in guiding people to those moments—supporting, encouraging, and celebrating with them every step of the way. Her drive isn’t just about physical fitness; it’s about building confidence, fostering growth, and making sure every person leaves the gym feeling stronger, inside and out.
