We offer group fitness CrossFit classes, specialty classes, one-on-one PTS & 4 week introductory courses. We have even recently added pilates to our timetable!
We also have a range of on-site facilities such as a chiropractor, certified nutritionist & remedial massage therapist.
Ive been doing Crossfit now for over 6 years, and due to my extensive travel with work, often find myself in gyms all over the world. There is no where I would rather train though than Crossfit Project Bayside. I was a foundation member of CFPB and since that time, the addictive programs and friendly yet driven environment has seen me constantly improve my fitness, strength and weight (dropping almost 20kgs). I love training with people of all capabilities, ages and backgrounds in an environment that is so supportive and welcoming to new members. Constantly filled by my favourite people means it has become a home away from home, and a place where everyone seems to be able to let go of life's other tribulations. The fact that my wife & children (ages 8 and 10) train here also says it all...I trust CFPB with helping my entire family on the path of long term healthy lifestyles!
From the moment I walked through the door of CFPB I felt welcomed.It can be a little daunting walking into a new gym where super fit and strong people are expertly lifting weights I would consider suitable to use a forklift for, but that lasted about as long as it took me to get 10 metres inside. Aimee has put together a team of coaches that are most interested in each and every person doing their best, safely, while having fun. CFPB has also attracted the most wonderful members. I quickly found I couldn’t bring myself to miss the tortuous Sunday endurance sessions, because I missed the people, the atmosphere and the little bubble of joy that 2 hours on Sunday morning is. COVID changed how we train, but not the creative, diversity in the program, or the sense of being connected to this amazing accepting community. If anything the COVID months have highlighted to me the energy and passion Aimee has for CFPB in her creative solutions to keep us together in our varied and endless range of situations. My old dumbbell and borrowed kettlebell, have been put though every workout scenario I can imagine. It’s been so nice to see my ‘gym’ on my iPad as I’ve logged on in the local park everyday. I’ve even been known to log on to say hello more than workout. In this little family it doesn’t matter what you can’t do, can’t do yet or where you’re starting from. Everyone will be cheering you on as you reach your own goals. And I CAN’T WAIT to be all back together.
I came to CrossFit Project Bayside as a distance runner with a desire to try something different for a few months in my off season, and had intended to revert to my previous strength training program once my running picked up again. What I found at Bayside was an awesome, varied, challenging but achievable and scalable program delivered by incredible coaches. The coaches have nailed the balance between pushing you outside of your comfort zone whilst understanding your limits, and the individualised feedback in every class has helped me to not only learn new skills but to master them too. The way in which Aimee and the team pivoted during lockdown was remarkable - the focus and priority was always on the members, and they have worked so hard to ensure that we had the tools available to us to maintain our fitness and connection with each other during COVID. I cannot recommend CPB highly enough - I came for something different for a few months stayed because of the amazing fitness family that I have been welcomed into.
